Who Qualifies...
Must be a graduating high school senior or in your freshman year of college
Must have a GPA between 2.5 and 3.5
Must submit a written 1-2 page essay telling us why you deserve the scholarship (must be mailed to 2577 Broad Avenue, Memphis TN 38112)
Must submit a letter(s) of reference from church or community person (must be mailed to 2577 Broad Avenue, Memphis TN 38112)
Must submit high school transcript (copy must be mailed to 2577 Broad Avenue, Memphis TN 38112)
Selection Process...
Recipients are chosen by the Wings of Change Board of Directors
Recipients are chosen based on written essay and community or church references
Awards...
Awards are granted in the amount of $500
Awards are given in the month of May to the student(s) in the form of a commitment letter
All funds are mailed directly to the college or university of choice
